Drew Pariano Death – The Fairview community is grieving the loss of Drew Pariano, a celebrated wrestler, coach, and alumnus who passed away last night. Pariano was a member of the Fairview High School Class of 1995 and was inducted into the Fairview Alumni Hall of Fame in 2008 in recognition of his extraordinary athletic achievements.

Pariano built a remarkable legacy in the sport of wrestling. At Fairview High School, he earned three Ohio High School Wrestling State Championships, cementing his place as one of the program’s most accomplished athletes. His success continued at the collegiate level, where he became a three-time Big Ten placer and a three-time NCAA Tournament qualifier.

Following his competitive career, Pariano transitioned into coaching, ultimately serving as head coach at Northwestern University. He was widely respected for his leadership, technical knowledge, and dedication to developing athletes both on and off the mat.

Tributes have poured in from former teammates, classmates, students, and members of the wrestling community, many highlighting his impact as a mentor and role model. Pariano’s influence extended far beyond competition, leaving a lasting impression on those he coached and competed alongside.
