Caleb Sackhoff Obituary MAUMELLE, Arkansas — The Maumelle Fire Department and the surrounding community are mourning the loss of Firefighter Caleb Scott Sackhoff, who died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 22, 2026. His passing has left family, colleagues, and friends deeply saddened.

Sackhoff joined the Maumelle Fire Department in August 2024 and served with distinction in Engine Company 1 (B-Shift). He was widely respected by his fellow firefighters and community members for his commitment, energy, and professionalism.

A graduate of the Arkansas Fire Training Academy Firefighter Standards Class 2024-E, Sackhoff earned the Academic Achievement Award, a testament to his dedication and excellence in training. He was also a licensed Emergency Medical Technician, reflecting his dedication to public safety and service.

Before his career in fire service, Sackhoff worked as a Capacity Procurement Representative at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., and was a proud alumnus of Arkansas Tech University.
